Root [TUT] Installing RZRecovery on A70

Download this:

http://playfuldroidz.com/media/A70/CWM-A70.zip
extract the zip to C drive or wherever you like.
open command prompt and cd to that folder.
Download the recovery and place it in that folder and rename it recovery5
else procedure is same as you followed for new CWM mentioned by Akshay. Thanks to him.
YOu can flash it using Fastboot i have done it using fastboot only it is very very easy.
The new recovery is better and awesome than CWM. Try it.

There is a issue : you cannot take a nandroid backup though you can restore one taken from cwm

it says error :cannot create /sdcard/nandroid/ Hybrid_v3 -BDCSAE-20120106-1647
in log it is is written :mkdir: can't create directore 'mentioned above' : Invalid argument



tried erasing recovery partition, and reflashing
all via fastboot !

Nothing in terms of Backup and restore but in terms of functionality yes
rz is better!
you can compress backups and sd card will say thanks to you !
you can select ANY color for display unlike cwm
you have option of installing apk directly from recovery (to system or data )!
many many more !
try yourself and again flash cwm as rz is is stil not working for backups!

If someone wanna try this recovery, use this flashable zip instead:

Flashable Zip

Steps:
1.) Put the zip in your SDCard.
2.) Reboot into current recovery.
3.) Flash the zip.
4.) Reboot recovery!
