Cannot Root After B08 Update

I bricked my phone while trying to fix the freeze issues. Had to update via Handset update tool. Now I have the B08 update, but cannot get the phone to root. Any ideas?

I am curious, What does Bricked my phone mean? is that another way of saying its rooted? I updated my phone as well and rooted it just fine right after the update B08... with the stuff that was on this forum in "All Things Rooted" You can get everything you need there to root it again and they also have you tube video to watch on how to do it, that's how I rooted mine.

Bricked phone means it will not boot up. I had used the one click root button before it bricked and it worked fine. After the update, it goes through the process with error message. After reboot it is not rooted.

My phone did that to me once, it would not start up, so I kept taking the batt in and out till it would start to turn on and I put it in FTM mode and hooked it to my computer then ran the handset recovery software that came from ZTE USA. maybe you could try that.

Yep that's how I got out of it, however after recovery and update it will not root?

I had a similar issue while trying to root on windows after getting everything updated to B08. I fixed the issue fairly easily just make sure you have to proper drivers installed from either the phone itself or the link inside of the one-click root post and then instead of just running the warpdrive.bat file you have to open the command prompt change to the proper directory and run it inside of cmd and just follow the onscreen instructions. If you need help with doing this let me know and i can give you detailed instructions if needed.

Please and thank you. I would love a detailed set of instructions. Does my email show up?

ok as long as you have debugging enabled on your phone and the proper drivers installed so the computer recognizes the phone were in good shape.

right click on the folder where u extracted the zip of warpdrive should say "warpdrive" by default.
select "cut"
Open windows explorer goto your "c:" drive
once inside "paste" the folder there. it should now be located at c:\warpdrive

Now press windowskey + R this will bring up the run prompt
Type "cmd" press enter
Once in dos type "cd c:\warpdrive" if done correctly the heading should read c:\warpdrive> (you can type "dir" to make sure the files are there)
Finally just type "warpdrive.bat"
follow directions and hit any key when its done phone should reboot if done correctly.
