I downloaded all of the necesary drivers for the esteem from the LGMobile Support Tool. The Esteem has usb debugging enabled and is switched to internet connection when connected. The support tool recognizes the Esteem but when I click Start Updating, another window pops up and does the analysis where everything goes smooth but when it's time to download the software it gives me an error saying that's unable to download. I've been trying since last night.

Just a maybe, but that C update didnt help many people so they may have pulled it from the LG Tool because there is *supposedly* another update coming. Thats just a guess tho

When I updated mine from the B to the C I had my phone turned on and had it enabled tho where it stays awake when plugged in the charger. I also do not have a screen saver enabled on my computer. nor does the screen turn off on the computer. I did not have the phone in Debug mode I figure the software would do what it needed to do if any settings needed to be changed. It took about an hour to complete the upgrade buy that was because my computer is about 12 years old and is slow.

You know your computer is slow when your smart phone is faster.

You know your Smart Phone is faster when it is faster than your computer.

When did you upgrade? Was it today?

About a week ago. If you have the right software installed it will let you know if there is an upgrade or not if you have your phone connected. Try having the phone turned off then connected to the computer and go through the process of letting the computer run through the LG program. The LG program will advise if there is an upgrade available and if there is the start upgrading button on the LG software will become active.

Ok. I'll give it a try and let you know what happens

EDIT: Still no luck. I'll take it to a Metro Store tomorrow and see what they say.

Post back if they are able to figure it out for you. Let us know what they had to do. It might help someone else.

Got the phone in NY but I went to a metro store in CO and they told me that I had to wait until next week. They said that LG will be releasing another update that my phone won't reject o_O
