So my grandfather gave my daughter an mp3 player for Christmas. I need to convert some of my iTunes to be able to put it on the player. What are your favorite programs?

Do you mean to remove the DRM so you can copy/play on whatever you want? I understand one way is to burn a CD with the DRM-enabled songs, then rip those songs back from the CD. However, I simply repurchased the non DRM version of iTunes. I think it was about $.25 per song. I didn't have but maybe 25 songs with DRM, so it wasn't expensive. And it was easier, and faster.

I'm curious is Google Music will pick up songs that are DRM enabled? (I LOVE Google Music!)

That's what I mean. Thanks. I forgot about the option to upgrade. When I look tonight I'll see how much it would be. Its probably just easier that way.
I haven't used Google Music yet.

Google Music is awesome! It read all of my itunes playlists. I had somewhat maintained the itunes playlists, and then used isyncr to copy songs/playlists to my DX. Pretty slick. Now I need to dump itunes for good, and use GM. I still hate being tied to GM, but it's better than itunes. I do want the songs on my computer though, and not just "in the cloud."

I guess now I know how other people felt when some of us were talking CPU and megapixels in the prerelease thread. Don't we already have not one but two forums dedicated solely to rooting the Nexus?

It's not exactly my business, what with not being a Nexus owner and all, but I'm probably not the only reader bored silly in this Lounge Watering Hole thread.

What, No Nexus. Thats a crime in my book..:p

Accept me. At 6ft. and 180lbs, I can eat what I want until my heart gives out. :p

And now I officially hate you for that. :p

I'm headed back to the gym next week. I have a personal trainer lined up and she has agreed to punish me until me abs are as rock hard as they were when I was in my early 20s.

I'm curious how many here are using the NFC tags? I think they are probably one of THE coolest things for our Nexuses (Nexi?)! I have ordered my tags, but haven't received them yet, but just looking at the options that are available, I can't wait to mess with these! My car doc should be arriving in the next day or so, and I plan on using a tag on it, as well as at home (bedside), my home office and workplace office.

For those using NFC tags, would you list how you're using them, as well as which apps you're using to program/manage them?

Using NFC Task Launcher to program. This is my tag for coming home to my apartment.

Alright, I must be doing something wrong...Anyone who uses widgetlocker please help me out

I thought maybe it was the rom/setup I had on my Droid X, but apparently not...But everytime I am in a phone call and I am ready to hang up, I pull the phone away from my face, the screen auto turns on, and widgetlocker is there waiting for me to unlock before I can hang up. I have the "show in call" option NOT selected...yet it still shows in call. Anyone else every had this problem or is it something I am missing?

5'10" and I vary between 160-165 lbs :p I've dwindled a little from my college days when I was 170 with 7% body fat.... :( I can eat whatever I want and not gain much if any at all. Weight lifting is about the only thing that makes me really gain weight. :D
