Drivers for VZW Pantech Caper Pre-Paid phone

I got my daughter a starter phone for texting, a VZW Pantech Caper and it has little to no memory and no sd card slot. So, within a couple of weeks she has filled the memory up with baby pictures from her aunt and she would like to keep them. I called VZW tech support and they claim there is no way to connect it to a pc to download anything.

So, does anyone know of any drivers or a way to get the pics off, other than forwarded all the pictures to another phone?

Strange thing is when I check her phone memory here is what I see:

Available 126.80 MB
Used 12.74 MB
Total 139.54 MB

I don't understand why it keeps saying its out of memory.

TIA!

Homescreen, menu, media center, pictures, my pictures -> select picture, right soft key (options), send via email.

You'll have to email each picture individually so far as I know, then go back and delete the picture once you've received it elsewhere.

Pantech feature phones have very decent messaging software - but unless or until some hacking community comes along for one, you're not likely to get your pictures off any other way.

Hope this helps!

PS - Sorry, no telling what the memory readout is telling you. I'm sure it's accurate for whatever memory partition it's referring to - can't help with that mystery.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also figured out that I can upload each picture to the online VZW account for that phone and from there have prints made or I can download them. Crazy that they do not have a USB driver for the pre-paid phones.

I think the phone has plenty of memory, but I think the phone only allocates a small amount of that total memory for text/picture messages and that is where the problem comes in.
