Downgrade
Many thanks to dual18 and Jackpot08 for the original post and links on this much needed process. Props to matter0ni also who contributed information needed to help the process run a bit cleaner.

Prior to beginning back up all important documents, pictures, contacts, settings, ECT.

I have tried to follow these directions to the letter from both Win7 Ultimate 64-bit and WinXP 32bit Professional.

It gets all the way to 99% and then fails and gives me an error message.

I have hard reset my phone and retried and it is still failing.

I have attached a screen shot of the error message that I am receiving from LGNPST.

I am at a loss as to how I can get my phone downgraded back to zvb

I have never seen that before...I will see if I can come up with a solution for you.
Have you totally uninstalled the programs on your CPU and start anew?

Yep/ In fact I started with a clean PC that had nothing on it but WinXP and the software needed for the computer to see the phone to try and downgrade

I can't find anything on that error! Try deleting everything and start anew...I just ran the program again (starting from scratch -cause I can! )

when downloadind skin.dll, it gives error stating it was loaded but the entry point dllregisterserver was not found. make sure it is a valid dll or ocx file and try again. any suggestions? windows 7

I just verified that the link is good this am. You are getting this error when downloading it ?

it asks me for my SPC and when I enter it, it says its not matched(wrong)

EDIT: Managed to get it to work. the whole process took around 13 minutes to complete, is that normal?

I'd love to be rooted and try these new romz but. Last time i tried to downgrade with my lg optimus M I bricked it and did everything i could to fix it but at the end. had to get a new one from metro and took em almost three weeks to get me one. so I might wait till there's a new root.

I have done it 3 times now with no issues..it IS a painless procedure .

If no progress aftersay 6-7 min..clown task manager your CPU. and end th LG. processes . Open everything up and try again.

Register the Vs910.DLL file again. In the program hit file -select dll-and select the Vs910.DLL. Should work now.

Expand and diminish the list to the right of the port in the program. save the tot file to your desktop so that it will be easily found.

Yes a little messy but it has been awhile since I have worked on a CPU...been doing everything from my phone for the last year (Its a beautiful thing!)

If anyone needs any help just post a new reply and I will help you anyway(well almost anyway) I can!
