Help Experiencing random restarts

Hello all, has anyone been experiencing any random restarts on your GNexus? Like the phone will shut off and turn itself back on. It has happened twice while I was on a flash heavy site while watching a video on it. Once while I was on the android market and once more when i was reading manga. The last two I mentioned occured within the last 3 days. The restarts involving flash was about 2 weeks ago.

yes i have had 1 restart... its part of the issuse of having a phone with a brand new software.. my advice is go HERE and download the latet version of Flash which is 11. if you have or if the phone continues to crash i wouold go back to the store and replace it. may be a phone issue.

i would try a couple of other flash heavy sites as well because it may just be the website and some weird funky coding going on in that site.

do not leave the store until you try it out though. go to the website and same video and see if it crashes and shuts off again.

not sure about smartphone but for pc and laptops, random reboot is caused by overheat/cache/software conflict.
you should try some task killers to clear cache, and see if it helps.
if u have thick case on or gel type case, use GNex without a case for a while to see if it helps. (also no games during recharging battery, it overheat device)
some apps might caused it (still running in background if u dont close it)
if none of that helps i'd do factory reset and give it a go, and exchange it if all fails.

I have had this GNexus phone since Verizon starting selling it.
I know that three times the reboot happen while I was having a phone call.
At least three more times while it was just working like using google map navigation.
I turn it off daily now but not during the holidays and I can not tell it this helps.
I have a thick case and the bigger battery - I don't want to believe they are a factor.
I usually have it in the holder on the dash which gives it plenty of ventilation.
Lets continue to share our reboots and determine if it is hadrware or software related.

I was driving with navigation and while on a call, and the phone rebooted (during a really inconvenient moment too, I may add). I get random reboots - once a week centered around using these two functions

I was curious about this too. The first time it happened to me was while I was listening to music with Spotify. It restarted probably 4 or 5 times (once every 10-15min.). Just the other day while using the Sirius/Xm app it restarted on me twice.

It really is frustrating. Hopefully something gets figured out soon. I otherwise love my Nexus, but this I feel is a major issue.

I've had to do a hard reset about 6 times. Every time its when I've been unlocking the phone. I've been trying to unlock by swiping to the right and nothing has happened.

I was trying to unlock the phone but when I pressed the power button, the swipe to unlock screen didn't even pop up. It was just a black screen. Keep in mind that the screen was on with all black background.
