For me, I keep going back to Siyah. I don't get the same battery life as others do in NEAK however I get much better performance in NEAK. I could probably do some tweaking to get a better balance on NEAK but I also have weird things that happend in NEAK. Sometimes when hitting the back button, it end up somewhere weird. Example: When ever I am in settings and adjusting one of my exchange email accounts, if I hit back, I don't go back up a level in settings but it take me to my email app??
2.6.6 caused 3 FC's within an hour of putting it on but I haven't had any others since. I have tried all versions since 2.5 and I think this has been the most reliable kernel for me.
I'm not really a big fan of siyah 2.6.6. Performance and smoothness aren't a problem but the battery just doesn't cut it. I'm going to leave siyah on tonight to see how it does while not being used for a few hours but I think I'll be going back to neak tomorrow.
I have yet to try the Siyah 2.6.6 kernel but in the past, as you well know Syd, I have had a roller coaster ride with Siyah. Sometimes they have worked really well and at other times they've killed my battery/performance.
The last Siyah that I can remember working really well for me was 2.6.2.
This won't, of course, deter me from trying 2.6.6 at some stage.
