Newbie on deck....let me have it!!!!lol. Rooted revolutionary 2.33 using cm7 nightly.... Tried to switch to freedom universal and viper mod. Phone is boot looping. I am still in a off mode. I did a format all, wiped cache I looked in my clockworkmod folder and it's empty. I can still get to all of my .Zip files but I tried reflashing but to no avail. Can I get some guidance please? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums!!! :)

If you can get to recovery, you're all good. I think ;)

You stated you tried to flash the freedom kernel with CM7. This will cause a bootloop because the freedom kernels are for Sense roms, and CM7 is an AOSP rom.

What recovery are you using?

If you are on Clockwork MOD recovery, I strongly advise you to switch to Amon-Ra. You can find the file here:
PC36IMG_RA_2.3.zip

1.download the file.
2.rename the file by erasing the "_RA_2.3" part of the name so that it is only named PC36IMG. make sure not to add ".zip" to the name as windows hides extensions.
3.transfer the file to the root (that means not in any folder) of the sd card.
4.power off (you most likely need to uncheck fastboot. settings/apps/uncheck fastboot.) then press and hold power+vol down.
5.hboot should see the file and select yes to update.
6.select no to reboot because we want to go into recovery and make a nandroid backup.
7.select recovery.
8.select backup and restore and select backup
9. select the first three and wimax. the other partitions do not need to be backed up. always keep one nandroid backup with wimax keys backed up on your computer.
10.now you can reboot.
11.using a file manager of some sort or even through your computer via usb, you should rename or delete the PC36IMG file on your card. otherwise you will be asked to update every time you go to the hboot screen. you do not need that file any more.

Now lets get a rom to boot on your phone. :)

Go here and download this rom:
[ROM][STOCK][1/1/2012] 4.54.651.1 (updated) - xda-developers

Place on the root of your sd card by booting into recovery and clicking on usb toggle in the recovery menu.
Once the file is on your card, make sure to toggle the usb or your sd card won't ba accesable to your recovery. :)
Select flash from sd and select the file.
Reboot and sign into your account.
Once the phone is setup, boot back into recovery and make a nandroid backup.

Now you will have a good nandroid to flash if you run into problems in the future. ;)

If you have any questions or get stuck just post back, we'll get you rolling. :)

Downloaded files now I'm in recovery selected mount sd and OC won't show folders. Also my screen changed from black and blue letters to black and green letters

were you able to get amon ra installed? i think that is what you mean about the color change. in amon ra there should be an option for usb ms toggle. this will give you access to the card.
