Root USB Help??

I rooted my phone to the cynogen mod 7.1 gingerbread software 2.3.4 and when i plug in my phone to my computer it keeps saying device not recognized and when i check its says root usb on the deice manager and i try to update the drier software and there is no software available and its up to date.

try wiping dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps. if that does not work then try and wipe dalvik cache and cache again and then reflash cm7 and gapps.

it doesnt have the option or at least i never found it i looked all over

when you connect your phone via usb, you can drop the notification bar down and then you can select the charge icon and a window should pop up so that you can change it from charge to usb. if it is not there then something is wrong with your rom. you might want to try and wipe only dalvik cache and cache and reflash the rom.

And I thought aosp did have it pop up "usb mode?" kinda like sense, but can't remember. It's amazing how quickly you forget the little things.:cool:
