Alright well my home screen switches tabs flawless and smoothly BUT if as soon i swipe the screen to go to another screen and tap the screen before the transition is complete the screen just stops where i tapped it. The phone doesn't freeze or anything it just stays at that spot until i move it again. I encountered this while just swiping back and before between the homescreens to see how smooth the transitioning was. Does anyone else have this problem? It's nothing big at all and I'm not really complaining, i just wanna know if anyone else encountered this as well

Try launcher 7, thats the best one I've used. No virtual screens and icon bs. Nice big buttons, search in the app drawer rocks and way faster. Lower resources being used too. It's like a Windows 7 phone.

I use it with gosms dark themed, and dw contacts/dialer
wth would I want my android to look like a winsux phone? lol

lol you guys can tease all you want haha. But it really does get you to what you want faster :) especially when driving lol. It's not about who made the ui, android is a chameleon. I just think regular ui's are a bit too cumbersome. Very functional but clunky. In reality throughout the day you typically open less than 10 apps so I keep em all up front, the rest I just need to get to quickly by name so it suits me perfect.

It actually looks really good with transparent Grey tiles and a nice bg. I used to use go launcher cause it's the same as adw, except faster. But still too small for me.

I would have to agree with Kan..launcher 7 is very well done. I've tried every launcher on and off the market. Zeam and ADW EX were my favorite. Once I started using Launcher7 I actually want to use my phone more. Why, I don't know. But I do. lol.

I highly recommend checking it out. Its light, smooth, and delivers a unique UI experience. It may not be for all but definitely worth a try. I also use WP7 Notifications, which is also fitting to the launcher 7 and the cleanest pop up that supports a wide range of msg apps.

My motto is, don't knock it...till you try it. ;)

also..the best part of an android is being able to pull the best parts of multiple devices into a droid. and epic os..but others might think iphones ui is nice or windows7 ui is better..etc..etc..that's the beauty of an android. ;)

lol well in Florida its not illegal so :p

But seriously, if you're driving you've got a second at best to hit a button during those little free moments so I'd rather use my same launcher than having to launch another app just for my car :) I've got a huge pandora button and my dw contacts so I can tap someone's face to call via car bluetooth. Only 2 taps at most, and I do have a dock suction cupped to my front left window. I don't know about you but I'd feel very nervous if everyone had adw launcher with 5 screens on the road haha...

And yes I hate idevices too haha. Don't worry they'll be bankrupt soon enough. I actually just converted a friend's busted wp7 phone to android ;)
