Root Adobe flash player works on samsung prevail!!

well i posted this on another on another thread but for just so everyone sees it here's a link to a modified adobe flash player that works

i tried it on

and it worked pretty good on the youtube desktop version

i believe it should work on any other rom also but i have only tried it on HoneyBreadSandwich RoM
just download and install like any other app and restart your phone

How about a version that works without hacking or loading a custom Rom. My phone is rooted, but I want to leave the android version intact.

it also works on stock rom. it works better when its overclocked but it should work good enough on the Stock rom

check your browser settings and make sure add-ons are turned on or uninstall and reinstall and reboot phone

Yes addons is checked and I have uninstalled and installed many times trying different tips and every time I reboot phone even by taking battery out a few times. Thanks for your input. All is appreciated.

Boost has 5 phones now that are Android. 4 have Android 2.3 with the Prevail 2.2.

I thought with the stock software upgrade on the Prevail to 2.3 we would have Flash built in ?

Flash, as in adobe flash is not a gingerbread item. adobe has made flash to exclude the cpu the prevail and some other low budget phones have.

Now there is a version that was modified to work on the phone anyway.
Now it isnt working exactly as it should, some glitches are to be expected.

Working like a champ here, watching 'Baby Boy' right now on crackle.
At first I tried it with the older 10.1 whatever and got the same thing as you,
it tried to load but didn't and froze my crackle app. Installed 10.2 and it's working perfect.

That is, over wifi, my Boost coverage in non-existent where I live.

It will not work on a stock rooted rom. So dont wast your time I tried this a million times. You must install moded rom. Honeybread works and CT mod works as well and I believtthat CT mod works with flash 10.2 the best. It works on every site I have been to. I only use stock browser. Don't waste your time with all the file explorers blade buddy and all the run around you need this and that misleading stuff. Just install mod and be done.
