Root CM7/MIUI Combo

You can get a MIUI theme with MIUI launcher & other look-alike apps running on CM7. Same with ICS themes on CM7.

no, miui is way too customized. you can make cm7 look like miui only at the homescreen, the minute you drag down the status bar or switch homescreens you know your not on MIUI.

also, my MIUI rom has as good of reception as any CM7, so idk what the OP is talking about. I'd suggest a new PRL.

I know... I don't know why so many people are complaining about reception issues... When flashing a new rom (as long as its specifically for the triumph no guarantee on other roms) there is no way it changes the radio code of the chip and shouldn't have any reception change... They're might be differences in the bars at the top but that doesn't prove anything check the dbs from rom to rom...

I know that's what I thought with roms but for some reason when I'm at home I get no reception on miui but when I change over to CM7 I get full 3G trust I know it makes no sense

CM7 and MIUI make no changes to the radio that would affect your reception. I hear people say this a lot, but there shouldn't be any difference between the ROMs and the stock ROM.

Aside from that, there are Theme Chooser themes and MIlocker and the like you can apply to look pretty close to MIUI while using CM7. This includes the pull down menu. You just have to find the right ones. If you know how to edit the framework (or learn to) you can also make that pretty darn close yourself (but that would be a lot of work, when most of it is done already).

Not sure you can get that part without editing the framework yourself. I know you can get most the apps, notification bar/menu, lockscreen, etc on CM7. I haven't seen the menu edited to look like that in CM7, but it might be out there somewhere.

My advice would be to read through a lot of posts here. Then probably some stuff on other forums. Google is your friend. I wouldn't know specifically what is needed to change the menu settings as I like what I have and don't want to change mine. It would be a lot of work, but if you are really interested then do some research. I can help you a bit if you need, just shoot me a PM with some specific questions.
