My wife is due for an upgrade soon, and we have narrowed down to 2 devices. The Rhyme or the DINC2.

I was doing alot of comparing of the 2 phones, and have found they are nearly identical.

Differences being:
Screen size (Rhyme: 3.7 / DINC2: 4.0)
Camera (Rhyme: 5MP / DINC2: 8MP)
Flash (Rhyme: Single LED / DINC2: Dual LED)
Front Camera (Rhyme: VGA / DINC2: 1.3MP)
Sense UI (Rhyme: 3.5 / DINC2: 3.0)

Both phones can be had for free with a 2 year extension.
Rooting is not a priority, as this is for my wife, not myself.

She really like the look and style of Rhyme, but is also attracted to the DINC2 (espescially in Red). She doesn't like big phones, so the slightly smaller screen on the Rhyme might be a plus for it.

Do does one really stand above the other?
Keep in mind she is coming from an LG Ally, so either is a HUGH upgrade!

I think the Rhyme would probably make her happy. I would never get it myself as it is pretty low on the specs in today's market. Face it, the DInc2 is too. I love my DInc2 but my wife would rather have a cute purple phone that isn't as big. Take her to the store and have her hold each for 2min and make her decide. That way she can't blame you :D
Personally think the DInc2 is a much better phone, but it is all about the happy wife.

I came from an Incredible (warranty upgrade) and thought I would not like the larger screen. I was wrong. I absolutely love my Inc 2. It's fast, reliable, and has great battery life. There's no 4G in my area, so when it came time to get my husband into a new phone, I got him a 2. I figured if I was happy, he would be too. I was right.

But, I agree with TheAthiestReverand. Take her in to try them out. We all know, if the wife isn't happy, no one is.;)
