Root [TUT] How 2 Root GALAXY Y

1.) Download needed file
(update.zip)

2.) Copy ZIP file to your SD-card

3.) Turn off your phone

4.) Switch ON your device in the
recovery Mode (hold power, volume up, home
button together).

5.) Select update from SD Card
option.

6.) You will see that the list of files will come from which you will have
to select the file which is named as
Update.zip

7.) Wait a few minutes

8.) And Your Galaxy Y
S5360 is now rooted!








9)If wanna unroot it again then just install gingerbreak and select unroot option

I tried rooting , but after selecting Update from sdcard it shows error that unable to mount /sdcard . help pls

hi wanted to know if rooting the phone void warranty, unrooting before going to service station, shall the warranty restore?

if no then i think theres no use of unrooting the rooted phone

- rooted phone void warranty
- unrooted phone restore warranty (don't forget to "wipe cache patition", "wipe data/factory reset...and select...Yes--delete all user--" in recovery mode. (by doing this your phone will be in primary stage as you bought it from the mobile shop) And format your SD card then you are ready to get it back withouth prove that has been rooted
