SetCPU & Voltage Control apps

Should I be using both of these apps together?

I used to use SetCPU, but have changed to voltage control. I presumed that once I set things in voltage control that opening SetCPU would then revert the settings back to how it read things.

Am I just being daft, or can I use both apps together (for profiles in SetCPU & I/O schedulers in voltage control)?

Provided you don't alter the same parameters in both, yes.

I tend to stick to Voltage Control.
The one major benefit SetCPU has over VC is its profiles, but as profiling was giving me a few phone freeze issues a while back, I've ditched it altogether and now just use VC.

Thanks both. I was using the profiles in SetCPU until it was said not to use it (im still on 2.6.2).

Nah! his sex life!

Seriously though, I get about a 2% drain per hour at night if I'm not charging my phone for testing purposes. Otherwise it's whacked on to my charger and the drain doesn't matter.

Anyway, hawker's phone doesn't go to sleep at night... it has a short course of death!
