Help Charging Question

Ok, I just started noticing that when I am charging my phone at work with the USB cable hooked to my computer, ever few seconds, the RED charging indicator light will blink.

I am almost positive this does not happen when it is plugged in at home or in my car with the USB cable plugged into a charger I have.

Am I crazy? Does the red light blink every few seconds when the phone is charging?

For me in blinks when I have an unread notification (like text message, email, missed call).

That is not the blinking I am talking about. When I plug my phone into the USB port of my office computer to charge, it blinks once ever few seconds. When I plug in my phone into a wall outlet to charge, it does not blink.

Mine is solid red. Did your phone give you an option to "charge only" or "use as external drive" or anything else? (My HTC EVO did this, not sure if my ET4G does).

When I plug it into the USB port of my office computer, the computer comes up and says "camera" connected. I have a feeling I need to figure out how to set it up to only charge when it is plugged into the USB port.
