Root Need help downgrading from android 1.6 to 1.5!

Hi,

I have an LG GW620R that I upgraded a while ago from 1.5 to 1.6. but now i found out about the whole openetna thing and i tried upgrade to android 2.x but the only problem is that i cant get my phone into fastboot mode with 1.6 and i cant find a way to downgrade back to 1.5. what should i do?

I know this may be a long shot, but any luck finding an answer to this? I really would like to try and get 2.3.3 on my eve, seeing as how it apprently works better... though even just being able to ROOT the damn thing would be nice.

If anyone's got any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have been trying to get a fastboot image on a 1.6 phone as well. I have it rooted and can send adb commands, I also have the original 1.5ROM but I don't know how to get that ROM loaded using adb commands.

Can anyone help me get this last step accomplished?

I have successfully downgraded now.

I used the tool found in the downgrade section here:

cyanogenroms.com/gw_620/

That gets you into fastboot where you can then put any image on you like.

Can you email me the tool you found from cyanogenroms.com/gw_620/ for downgrading from 1.6 to 1.5? When I go to the site there is now way to get into downgrade section. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi, I am trying to downgrade my phone and am having problems. I would appreciate any help that anyone can provide. My phone is rooted, I am trying to downgrade to V10H_00.kdz from V10Q. When i use KDZ_FW_UP program, i get a window that pops up with a message "MOD UptestEX MFC Application has stopped working" and shuts down the program. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance. -Rachel
