Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Something isn't playing nice with the ability to change my menu buttons. Could it be nova?

Could be. I found Nova, and I know it's very popular, to cause funky issues on my phone when I tried it. Haven't been back.

Could you back up Nova, delete/uninstall it, then reboot to see if your having an issue? Then re-install when you're decided.

Does anyone use some sort of collaborative solution for sharing documents? Specifically a simple Excel spreadsheet that can be shared/modified by 2 people without emailing back and forth? I dont know that it's absolutely necessary it stay in Excel so I started to look at Google Docs but also noticed they have Google Cloud Connect that looks like a plug-in to Office and am wondering if that would be better. Any advice on which way to research is appreciated.

Box for Personal: Simple, Secure Sharing from Anywhere

Works real well, all types of docs. Really just a central cloud storage with the ability to d/l, edit, circulate. Free!

Are you talking navigation buttons (bottom dock), or something else? I just updated to AOKP 15 and added the search button and everything is working great. (also running Nova, not sure which version)

Yeah. I am.

I am going to try jbdan's suggestion

Which version of Nova do you have?

I had this problem when I first installed Nova (beta 8) over RevolutionHD on Sunday afternoon. I continued to have the problem until I rebooted the phone. Later that night Nova prompted me to install an update (beta 9) and one of the bug fixes listed had to do with problems with unmovable icons. Since then I have received another update (beta 10) but I have not had a repeat of the issue with the app icons since the first day.

I'm using nova 10. Its not a huge deal but I think the rom and Nova don't like each other. :D

While researching this question, I came across Cloud-based VIDEO editing and collaboration. For FREE.

Very interesting concept, especially for photographers, musicians etc.

Wipe cache partition, format system under mounts and storage, wipe dalvik, flash M2, ready set go! :D

soooo i think a good thread on the propers of wiping and flashing would be greatly appreciated. back in the good ol OG days, doing flashing and wiping in ROM Manager seemed like all that was needed. it seems now everyone has their own preferred method of doin the deed.

what gives?

ps - everytime i think about it or type it out... i always stop and laugh. it's good to be in 7th grade again. wipe. :D

Thanks! Then Nova and battery mods. And kernel.

After flashing M2 reboot to home screen let everything settle for a minute, then reboot into recovery and flash your mods and kernel if you'd like. fwiw I've had weird things happen when I went flash happy and tried to flash several things at once. It just never worked for me so I've always done it incrementally in steps. That's just me though!

lol @ the hide.

This is tricky as everyone has their own method to their madness. What I posted for BB's to do is what has worked for me for the past 2 years so I stick to it. I really don't think there is a 100% correct way.

Matter of fact everything I post regarding wiping is only from personal experience. So please don't take it as "the way it should be done" :p

I would like to report that I am terrible at Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party. TERRIBLE. Except for a couple of the faster songs. Go figure. *shrugs shoulders* The songs are horrible on it too though and that is irritating. I just didn't feel like going to the gym. But am hour of DDR seemed better than nothing. :D

Is that a game on PS3/XBOX or just a DVD. I used to watch dance party USA in college with zach and screech idk why I just thought of that.....

No need... just wipe cache.. if you have issues then go back and wipe all

- I've found that wiping system and not data causes login issues with google apps .. I've been only wiping cache for the last 3 updates. Its been running great and I've flashed themes and everything..
