For what it's worth, I called ASUS and told them what was happening. The guy informed me the only way to get GPS working is to send it in and get it fixed. What do you mean? I asked, I told him I read the press release about the unibody design and wanted to know what they would be able to do for me.
He continued and explained he assumes they will fix the design or IMO replace the unibody with some sort of RF window. Of course the tablet is under warranty, I only have to pay for shipping one way.
I figure it's worth the trouble to send it in and see what happens. Either way, he said they would fix it...so if they send me back the same device, not fixed, I would be really pissed. We shall see...ill post something when I get it back, should be about 2 weeks.
I was given an RMA number and everything. At this point, im optimistic.
