Well VZW has made some confirmation Motorola Droid 4 Announced

Looks pretty good. Here are the quick specs
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • Android 2.3.5 (Android 4.0 coming soon)
  • 4.0-inch qHD display
  • Scratch and scrape resistant glass, water-repellant nanocoating for splash resistance
  • 8MP camera with 1080p video
  • HDMI mirroring
  • MotoCast
  • 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot support (up to 8 devices)
  • Water-repellent nanocoating for splash resistance
  • 16 GB on-board memory
  • MicroSD slot
Sure it comes stock with GB but ICS very soon. No word on a release date.

Rob also got a chance to play with one at CES you can see the hands-on video at Motorola Droid 4 Hands-On Video [CES]

I am thinking full physical QWERTY and LTE are going to make a lot of people happy :D

How can they hope to attract business people without being "global"?

Do we have to wait some more for Droid 4 Global?

Looks like the radios will be activated with a future update.

I just realized this phone doesn't even have a dual core processor..Am I wrong in thinking this is an issue?

It will be a dual core processor, I don't know the what processor it will be but it is dual core.

Thanks I saw that. looking like a release date of jan 26th or feb 2nd. And all the great romers have gotten around the locked bootloaders before, I just don't want to live without root.

Also it's in the specs that it will have a sim card slot for global, like the droid 3 and razor. not too concerned here but oh well.

I just hate the fact that having an open bootloader is what launched the OG Droid into being a real competetor, it's the main reason I went with my OG Droid. And after makeing all that money, and making Moto relavent again, now they're going to disable the main reason people bought your phone in the first place!!! GRRRRR and other explitaves!!!!

And the user guide is now available as well. And I think I saw somewhere it could come out this week, not next week. Which I might believe as I don't see the reason for dropping 2 phones on the same day. But stranger things have happened.

Motorola Droid 4, RAZR Maxx release date updates

I did see that the battery is NOT removable:mad:. IDK, could be a possible deal breaker for me. Guess my OG Droid is still going to be permattached to my cold dead hand!!!:D

Awww I just read that too...no removable battery. I wouldn't mind if it had the same battery as the Maxx. :D

Unless Moto will release a Droid 4 Maxx version after 3 months.
