Unlimited Data

Hey guys, I haven't posted in a while.

Basically, I switched over to Verizon and I have a line that has grandfathered unlimited data(contract is out until Feb. 2013)

I know I have an ETF, but I don't really mind. I just figured I'd put it out here, seeing if anyone is interested in taking it over.

You know, that is a good idea! Now that all the wireless companies are restricting and changing and increasing prices, that might be the only way to get a decent plan on another carrier. I was thinking about switching to AT&T from VZW, but they've got me between a rock and a hard place because I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan on VZW, and I'd have to choose one of the finite data plans on AT&T if I switched. I could easily get by with, say, the 2GB AT&T data plan, but dang it, I like to have the option!

Changing from VZN to ATT means equipment change doesn't it?

We can't count on a companies advertising to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We can count on them spinning the pitch to say what they want you to think/know.

There are very few carriers that offer full featured, all out, all you can get, unlimited data plans and then deliver it well. My Sprint friends tell me that that is what they get; especially when they are in a strong Sprint market.

Boost, which "operates on the Sprint network " is also truly unlimited data. But i've been told that the Sprint network doesn't mean that Boost customers get to use all of the same bells and whistles that Sprint users get to use; like no 4G.

i do not know exactly if this is true and how they limit the through-put but when i turn on my 4G button on my Boost phone the icon shows that it's working but things seem to be slower rather than faster.

Just rambling....sorry <S>

Yup, for me thats one of the hard pills to swallow as well. I am on an unlmited data plan with AT&T but like phone devices on the other carriers. Ive been holding out for so long hoping AT&T release some high end androids , i mean, a good selection of them to choose from... so, ive been considering moving over to another carrier but , dang it.. i like the option as well... i cant give up my unlimited data plan like that...
