i'm assuming my phone is bricked.
plug it in to charge... nothing.
hold power to turn the phone on... nothing
try to go to download mode...nothing
anything at all that i can do to fix it?
stupid me !!!!!!
flashed rom manager BEFORE i read the post and comment not to do it
the phone worked fine until i went to shut it down to do the whole odin thing.
ANY HELP???

Something else sounds wrong if you cannot get into download mode. Have heard of others bricking with rom manager but never that it won't even turn on anymore.

Tried removing the battery? Then try to start it up and into download mode and odin fix it.

actually, the phone not turning on at all or 'hard bricked' is the very reason for the warning. It f-s the arm boot, and makes it a very expensive paper weight...

i'm still going to have a sense of humor. :)

so i guess my next brilliant question is
will samsung know that i rooted it?
it's just the stock rom and also rooted. nothing else

Some have had success with sending their rooted phones in, but it's a flip of the coin. A better question is how long have you had it, and where did you buy it from?
You might be able to return it to wherever you got it from if you are still in the window. The big chain stores wouldn't be able to tell if it was rooted or not.
