Root no market!

I dropped my phone today, battery popped out I restarted phone and noticed a few apps were missing. I restored the apps using titanium. Now I just noticed my market is gone. I tried installing an apk but it won't install. Do I have to wipe my ad card before I reflash gapps? That means I need to do another backup right? would dropping my phone cause the market to disappear? Someone help me please! Thanks

That is weird. I would go through and do a backup then reflash.

You dont want to wipe your sd card. Your backup will be stored in the clockworkmod folder, on the sd card.
If flashing the gapps(after wiping cache and dalvik) doesn't fix the problem, wipe everything you had to, to install the ROM. Then reflash the ROM and Gapps.

Thanks. I had to wipe everything and flash everything. It worked. I appreciate it. I was trying to avoid doing a whole wrote, but acoona matata(not sure I spelled that right but think lion king). Much love guys

The man in black. The best love story ever is him and June Carter passing away only months apart from each other. Sad thing about Johnny's passing is that John Ritter died the same day and it seemed people didn't even take notice. He was overshadowed by the man in black. I miss the both of them.

I know sometimes it's way to easy to B.S. with friends in an environment you all know, and where you know you can find them. I've caught myself sliding into it from time to time.

We want this forum to be were people can come and fix there problems, and make new friends. Hopefully they will want to give back.

I use the "slice the Bologna" method to Guiding.
I respectfully, but tactfully let them see what they/we sometimes forget.
This works better than finger pointing and demanding.
We all no what's right and what's wrong. We sometimes just need someone to turn on the light.
There's also a right time and a wrong time to turn the light on.
Too soon and members might get offended. That would detract from the atmosphere of friendship and helpfulness.

I thanked you because you made it the perfect time for me to turn on the light.

Attention all new readers! Problem was solved. I had to reload the ROM and gapps. Follow instructions on how to do so. I have no real answer on what happened or caused my issue, just speculations. Warning, I have ADD
