Help Am I the only person who's having major problems with this phone?

Let me first off say, I've done a hard reset like 3 times, and I'm running Gingerbread

Alright here's my story. I got the Samsung Infuse 4G back in August 2011, and while I was in the store I was debating the entire time between the Atrix & the Samsung Infuse, and I went with the Infuse.

I loved the phone, it was fast, smooth, and I loved the big screen, but I was a worried about the fact that it wasn't dual core, so I swapped it with my dad's Motorola Atrix (he loved the big scren), and the problems began there.

I don't understand how this phone is dual core. It runs like a Windows XP single processor machine with 512mb of ram trying to run Vista, it's slow, choppy, and freezes a lot. Some examples of my problems-

-ESPN Scorecenter runs VERY slow (Scrolling between sports, and it takes a while to load the app), yet it runs fast and smooth on the Infuse.

-Words with Friends runs slow, and it crashes every other time I run the program. Yet I had no problems with the Infuse's version. Also, the Atrix doesn't always notify me when my opponent makes their move, Infuse did.

-On Scoremobile, whenever I would tell it to send me a score update on a game, it would....an hour after the game ended. The Infuse did it perfectly, updating me when the scoring happened.

-the eBuddy app would act very odd. I would be chatting someone on facebook on my computer, and eBuddy wouldn't send me any messages on my phone. Except, it did, when I picked up the phone and got off the black screen, it would send me every message in that conversation at once like I was being bombarded.

I'm VERY sorry for making this huge post, but this is pissing me off to the point that it makes me want to buy a different phone, and I really don't wanna do that for money reasons. Any help would be appreciated.

Let me ask you a few questions.
1.- Is your phone rooted?
2.- Are you running an official rom on it?
3- How long have you had this phone?

The reason I ask is that the official roms from Motorola are known to act up, so even when we have amazing hardware on our devices, all the bloatware starts messing up our system.

Please answer these questions, by tomorrow I may have some suggestions for you.

Hope to be of help.
1. No
2. Yes (In other words, I'm still using stock blur)
3. August 2011

Check and see how much RAM you have and how many apps are running in the background. Normally, its a resourcing issue. Meaning to many apps running at the same time and not enough RAM to process everything. Even though this is a dual core phone, the dual cores are not running all the time. I'm not sure what will cause the other core to kick in, besides using the Lap and Multimedia docks.

I use ATK and I have it set to kill all running apps when i turn off the screen, so I don't think RAM and apps running is an issue.

Did you know that the Atrix has its own stock Task Manager, that manages 3rd party apps? You will find it in the app drawer. Get ride of ATK, and I believe all of your problems regarding slowness will be solved.

I knew this, but it's too much of a hassle. I find ATK much easier to use.

You should rethink this. I've used ATK on my Backflip and it is by fare hardier to use then the stock task manager. Another thing you have to realize is the stock task manager is designed to work with your Atrix 4G. All you have to do is check the apps you want to end when the screen times out and that's it. None of the system apps can be ended using the stock task manager. With ATK, both 3rd party and system apps can be stopped, which is why, I believe, your phone is running slow.

But this problems began long before I downloaded ATK.
