Good morning everyone. Busy, busy day at work today, but found this article while eating breakfast and thought it was awesome to see. No more 3G phones on Verizon's network (except PTT) -- only 4G LTE phones from now on. I wonder how this is going to affect the iPhone.

Oh no!
I also can't turn my Flyer on and can't find any support (incl. an email to HTC).
I had to sbf my Bionic (or whatever it's called) once and it wasn't too bad. Hopefully there's something similar for the Nexus to help you out.

Isn't this where people were saying to change the name of something so that CWR will stick?

The file is named recovery-from-boot.p

I renamed it recovery-from-boot.p.back and copied the file to my sdcard so I would always have it...just in case.

Hmm, always thought Liquids builds worked better on my Droid than CM7 but I'll give these a shot when they come out of beta. And the drama between the Liberty team and Liquid is depressing. Liberty worked great on my Bionic but he's since abandoned it.

P.S. For those interested, so far the best comparo I have seen by far is by phonearena. They wouldn't come out and declare an outright winner, but I didn't percieve any bias as I did on the others.

Hey everyone. I have a pretty old laptop that I was considering to give Linux a try. Any suggestions on a version for a Linux noob and also a place to learn about it on the web?

Also, looking to build a nas and thought maybe unraid. Same sort of questions. What do you think and any good resources?

Linux Mint is a great beginner Linux distro. Not sure where the best place for info would be, but Linux tends to have active community forums that are great resources.

Do any of you rooted/flashed ROM type folks use Spotify? Reason I ask is, on my Nexus, it tends to reboot when I'm streaming over 4G. And I've read enough that it seems to be happening to a fair number of people. So while I've been reluctant to go down that road with my Nexus, if that will help fix this problem, it's one more reason to finally take the plunge.

Eh, I mean, there can really never be an "outright winner." Android does some things way better than iPhones, and iPhones do some things better than Android. They're very different operating systems. Different strokes for different folks.
