Has anyone managed to tether their Evo 4G to a Transformer Prime tablet yet? UNrooted?

1) USB Tether?
2) Using native tethering apps?
3) Rooted?

99% of you all seem quite phone/comp saavy, but I'm not. Would anyone feel so compelled to hook up a step by step instructional to get the Evo 4G tethered to an Asus Transformer Prime?

I see so many directionas to root the Evo, some simple, some more intensive, but I still have no idea how. I tried Simple Root and it denied me since my firmware version was "old" (I have Gingerbread)

moved you to the rooting section.

first off we have a new policy on tethering. so please read this sticky:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/480569-psa-about-tethering.html

but i will say this, most roms will have a tethering option. and i would start by reading the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. read thoroughly before attempting to root your phone.

and please feel free to ask questions if you have them.
