Asus Transformer vs. Acer A500 vs. Toshiba Tablet

With all three on the horizon here in the US, I really can't decide which one I want. Considering the software is pretty much the same, it all comes down to being a Spec Whore. All three have great features, but also seem to be lacking on something that one of the others have.

Anybody else debating?

I'm debating between Asus Transformer vs. Toshiba Tablet.
In terms of specs though I think Acer and Toshiba are very similar except Toshiba has full HDMI port + SD card along with replaceable batteries. The only feature for Acer over Toshiba is that it looks much much better than Toshiba. The aluminium back and being thinner gives Acer the advantage (though I'm sure Toshiba's build quality will also be solid).

Personally, I am really confused between Asus and Toshiba
The biggest two area where Asus wins in is the IPS screen (I don't think Toshiba has an IPS screen) and secondly the DOCK! The amazing dock which gives you longer battery life, 2 USBs (Toshiba has 1), SD card slot (which Toshiba built in), full HDMI (again, Toshiba has that too) and of course, a full keyboard.
Now if you're only a tablet person and not going to buy the dock ever then I'd go with Toshiba. Though in the looks department it gets a -1, the replaceable battery and full USB and full HDMI and full SDcard is a killer trio.

All said and done, sadly neither Asus nor Toshiba have announced their launch date and price in North America so this discussion is pretty much invalid

I saw on youtube where somebody who did an unboxing said that the Acer has IPS too. Not sure if that is true... They are really vague about the actual specs on their site and I am not sure if I trust what Best Buy lists.

I was sold on the Asus, but for some reason I'm bothered that the rear camera has no flash. I doubt I'll take many pictures with it... but knowing it doesn't have one might annoy me. Ditto with Toshiba.

So then I return to the Acer... which is the least attractive of the three... but still miles better than the Xoom and it's crap build quality and plasticy look.

Also, I saw a few comments on XDA that some people with Asus were having bleeding edges ala iPad 2. I'm wondering if that is a side effect of the IPS screen.

I am waiting to check out the Toshiba as well, but I think another thing in favor of the Asus is the 'Gorilla Glass' front. It is tricky to verify, but I have seen mention that the Acer has a 'replaceable battery' like the Toshiba. The Toshiba is also supposed to get a 'dock', but no word on whether it has a keyboard, extra ports, etc..

I like the ASUS the most out of this bunch. It is the only one with the IPS display (Acer's isn't IPS) and it's also the lightest one of the bunch at 675 grams (Acer 730, Toshiba 770 grams). Screen quality and weight are both important factors to me.

I'm an iPad owner (really no good Android tablets at the time). I bought a Xoom because I was dying to have a Honeycomb tablet. And I loved Honeycomb, but I didn't love the Xoom. It was heavy (730 grams) and it's non-IPS display was washed out and sad looking next to my IPS iPad. Had to return the Xoom, $800 (even $600 now for the wifi) just felt like too much.

What I really want is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. 595 grams and a PLS display. Makes me so happy. But June feels like forever and I really do want a Honeycomb tablet again. So I'm sure I'll buy the ASUS first (really like that $400 price) and then give it to a friend/relative or sell it and get the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in June.

I'm deciding between Iconia an Asus tablets, I'm in pro for the Iconia because of the USB port, I already have an old Archos 10.1 and I can't imagine a tablet without USB ports, but my doubt is about the LCD screen on the iconia vs the LED screen of the Asus? what about it?
The screen of my archos tablet has a TFT LCD and it really sucks!!! the viewing angle is very limited and and the light reflecting over the screen. Is there a relevant difference about the screen between the Asus and Iconia tablets?

Dunno but I have an a500 and suck would not be a word I'd use to describe the screen,it's pretty good. My only gripe is wifi in my a500 is not as strong as my laptop or droidX phone. From what I've seen so far the Dev community for the xoom and Asus are larger, much larger than the a500, but the a500 has some good Roms. The USB is nice on the a500.
