So I've spent a couple hours searching the internet and the forums and have been unable to find anything answering my question.

I'm trying to add music to my HTC Rezound so that I can use the beats audio (it won't work with Google Music). For some reason my Macbook Pro won't recognize the phone when I hook it up, and so I decided to get around it by using a MicroSD adapter. Here's the problem, when looking at the SD card in finder, there isn't an actual "music" folder. Where and how can I add the music so that the phone is able to play it?

Thanks in advance.

Just a suggestion... Try moving the music over to the micro SD card from the mac, I think the Rezound will recognize the music files regardless of the file they are in. Not sure, but potentially worth a try.

So I feel like an idiot for trying to read a solution and not just messing around with it to begin with.

My initial problem was that I had misread the labeling on the side of the MicroSD adapter and had it locked so I wasn't able to add music to it. And after reading your reply I decided to just go ahead and try it to see what happens. Made a new folder, titled it "Music", and clicked and dragged a couple artists and albums into it. The phone recognizes everything from the artists to the albums and works like a charm.

Sorry for being an idiot, and thanks for inspiring me to actually do something.
