New Software update ETA??

I have a serious bug that has devleloped Poss do to and app that i had to delete this is deff a software issue with 3rd party app conflicting with ICS, either way have there been any say or clues to the next update i want to wait till an firmware update to see if it resolves the isusse before i call VZ to swap.

Are you sure it's not the app that needs an update. Not all apps are compatible yet with ICS. It's the app developer's responsibility to update his software to work with the new OS. Not the other way around.

Well ive deleted the app, it had performed well but, after a few hours my phone begin lagging severly. After i Uninstalled the app the phone went back to being quick.

What exactly is the bug??

Well so far this bug is affecting my Misc sounds ex dialing numbers, phone lock sound, playing sound from music through the rear speaker, also cannot use phone with out headset due to muted speaker, at first i thought that the speakers had died but that's not it since they will still alert me when noftications come in or my alarm clock goes off, and sometimes my misc sounds will come back for an hour and then go back out, so yea this is one superbug otherwise phone works great or should i say computer!!

Its up to the developer to fix bugs that their apps cause. Not Google. Send the developer an email asap

My prediction:

They will software update after the extended return policy. There will be a bunch of people that just return for the sake of returning in the hopes of something better; OR will swap to a new device.

More activations of new devices makes VZW and Google happy! We never, ever see the returns in news feeds.

Makes sense to me, lol. Return a device, then release an update on the 16th or thereafter. Got a ton of people that have returned and got another device, and then came back to the SGN already.

This is probably no different than Apple's philosophy, take the few dollar cut in a return, but boost numbers. I know people that have gone through 6 iphones, but their problems are still there.... chalk it up to 6 NEW activations!
