Every video I try to watch on You Tube comes back as "Can not play this video" I have the icon, why would I need to download any further application to watch you tube?mm

YouTube app has been not functioning very well since a few of the updates our phone got.

Some report that, using WiFi instead of Mobile 3g, it works just fine. Others have no success. Some say to try opening the video MANY MANY times, and eventually it works.

I just go to m.youtube.com and just go there.

Yep, I use it on the web as well. Apparently 2.1 fixes this issue ... you should have the youtube app working great sometime before the end of March

Usually if I click on it two or three times it eventually comes up....when I have the patience.

I have never had a problem w/ m.youtube.com

I agree. m.YouTube.com has always worked for me as well. All it does is show only the videos compatible or playable on your phone. I think

Nothing youtube works on my phone either. The app or m.youtube.com I've stopped caring about it. If this thing ever gets rooted thats the first thing I'm going to remove is youtube!

Can't watch any videos on my eris for that matter, unless they're one's that I have taken personally with the camcorder.

I don't know if this YouTube app question has been answered before, but why do some music videos (particularly popular ones) not appear in the search result list? When you search youtube from a computer you'll find these same videos at the top of the list.

May not be "optimized" to work or play on the phone. Then again, neither is the ap itself.
