Please help me! I JUST purchased a Samsung Exhibit II 4g Phone...

I just got it like 6 hours ago and I was putting up a pattern lock. Thirty minutes later, I completely forgot it! I have not downloaded anything new. The phone already came with its own apps for me to get used to. is there any way for me to get through it? or do i have to go back to the store and ask them to get in it for me?

I have tried accessing it 135 times, waiting for the "Did you forget your password" bubble like everyone had suggested (I did research, but Now I'm desperate). They said it usually pops up after 20 attempts... but now I'm almost 140 attempts and still no option for retrieving password... suggestions?

Welcome to Android Forums, ilovecheese.

Did you enter your gmail account and accessed the market ?

If yes then there maybe a solution

https://market.android.com/details?id=se.curity.android.screenlockbypass
Download the app

Instructions:
Login to the web based Android Market.
Install this application to your registered device.
Then install any other application you wish, it will trigger this application to run and the Screen Lock will be disabled.

After that disable the pattern lock since the access is temporary

If you haven't logged on to gmail and/or android market then you need to go to your carrier/phone care center and get it to reset .

@Karandpr - Well. It's funny because I created a google account (gmail), and linked my cell number with it. It even sent me a text for confirmation. However, when I did exactly as you had told me, it stated that "No Android phone Associated with this Account." Which is weird because I rechecked my gmail, and the phone number is correct right there. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
