Seidio Active vs OB Commuter Advice

I currently have the Otterbox Defender but I have several complaints with it. To start with, its less than easy to slide it in an out of my pockets, the rubber is a lint magnet, and it's just extremely bulky.
I recently bought a Diztronic Rev. 3 case and I love it. Great for if I'm at home or just running errands, but the matte is much slicker than I had expected.

This brings me to my point. I'm looking for a new case, something giving comparable protection to the OB, but something a little less bulky and a little easier to slide in and out of my pocket. I'm pretty much looking to decide between the Commuter and Seidio Active case. I've head the Commuter works with the extended battery, but it's fairly slick. As far as the Seidio goes, it looks pretty solid but I'm not sure if it works with the extended battery. If anyone has either of the cases and can give me some advice it's greatly appreciated!

I had the Active for the Nexus S because I couldn't get an OB for it. Had a problem with it, the coating peeled off like sunburnt skin and my dealing with customer service couldn't have been easier. They sent a replacement right away. I picked up the OB Commuter for the Galaxy Nexus and I really don't like it. It's way to slippery. Feels like it's going to slide right out of my hand every time. I ordered the Active Combo w/Kickstand yesterday morning. I'll post when I get it.

I had an active on both my Dinc and my Thunderbolt, and loved it. It does collect lint with the best of them, and the finish wore off as well, but considering it was a case, it didn't bother me. It has a very sure grip as well. I am currently going caseless for now, but if I do decide to get a case, it will be an active again.

1. i don't like moving parts on cases so i the Otterbox is out. i don't want to fight with flaps every time i want to charge my phone or use my headphones and also disengage each - which is multiple times a day. and that port protection is overkill for normal use IMO. the one i was considering was the Defender sans belt clip. i heard also that there is some wiggle room rattle movement of the device in that case. not good. i also don't like the "rainbow" built in screen protector.

2. i have had the Seidio Active X Exoskeleton case on my OG EVO since launch day. i like it a lot and plan on getting the G-Nex version. for me - it is the best balance of protection, style, design, grip, materials, size, quality, and price.

this is a great video showing the Seidio Active X Exoskeleton Silicone Gel case for the EVO. looking at the G-Nex Active case online it looks to be very similar. i have had this case on my EVO since launch day and love it. i plan on getting it for my G-Nex.
