I have a number of free apps that I downloaded from Amazon and Getjar.

Now, Market keeps trying to update these apps but keeps declining download. Obviously because I have not purchased them through the market.

Is there any way to stop thes update attempts ? I have unchecked the automatic Update for those apps already.

Thanks

If I remember right you can break the links for market in Titanium Backup.

The easiest way of fixing these types of issues is to just go to the market and get the app from there. If it cost a few bucks, so be it. You'll not only get the most out of your apps, but you'll be giving the developer of the app the most epic awesome pat on the back. You'll be saying thak you, but with a huge +1. ;)

One of the apps is Quick Office Pro that I purchased on Amazon for $15. I don't really want to buy it again ;-)
