Anyone else encounter any problems running this app? I've only heard great things, so I bought it. Right off the bat I was having some trouble with it. The lock screen is quirky, and I get errors about pressing my home button which interferes with the app lock screen or something. Do I have some settings to adjust?

Works great for me. Maybe delete it and reinstall it.

Just tried doing that. When I wake the phone up, the bottom buttons flash a bit and then light up..looks horrible. The lock I have chosen - the ICS unock - only allows me to unlock the phone, and doesn't give me the ability to swipe another direction to unlock and go directly to an app, such as SMS. Also, if I am using the phone, click the home button, and then turn the phone off, once I turn it back on I get a message saying something about a "recent home button pressed has caused an issue with the lock screen" or something to that extent. Has anyone else found this to be a bit buggy?

If you just select the ICS method it will give you the camera and unlock, as you've mentioned. To add custom apps, first open widgetlocker from the app drawer. Long press on the screen (it will look identical to your lock screen) until the 'add to lockscreen' popup appears and select custom slider. From there under "slide to configure" click the theme drop down menu and select ics. From here you can move the icon in any of four directions (up, down, left, right) and add a custom app, for example I've got my camera as left, sms as up, unlock as right and google talk as down.

In regards to the message about widgetlocker delayed, I've experience the same thing but only if i turn the screen off and then immediately attempt to turn it back on. Not annoying enough for me to bother with but there may be a setting in advanced which may alter this. It took me a while to learn to customize the lock screen slider but ever since I did I haven't looked back, best lock screen app on market

I agree with hyp3rdr1v3 -- Widgetlocker is probably the best lock screen program out there. I will say that the user interface to customizing the slider is not intuitive at all. So keep at it - you can customize the sliders to do different things. I use the ICS slider and have configured a different action for each swipe direction (camera, alarm clock, unlock, mute).

I just noticed the button lights flashing when I wake up the phone -- odd. I've never paid attention to that before!
Maybe I'll fire off an email to the dev so they know about it.

Thats the thing, I did exactly that and the lock just snaps back to the center. There are two ICS locks though...one works (The black and white one) and the other does not.

Overall this app looks amazing, and I hear so many good things about it, which is why Im really trying to get it to work flawlessly. Thank for the help!

When you go to set up the unlock action for the ICS theme you need to select the particular quadrant (drag the lock to one of the four ordinal points) and then select the action. If you select an action not available to your device, it will do nothing. Then make sure you save the new setting. Just backing out our going back to the home screen will discard your changes.
