How is your screen for those who have Verizon Screen Protectors?

For those who have the Verizon screen protectors installed, is the screen clear? Especially when you have a white background screen?

Had the Ghost Armor installed and it has like a crystallized effect, kind of sparkly-like and it's really noticeable when I have a white background such as my email inbox. I had the Verizon screen protector on it prior to the Ghost Armor but I don't remember if the Verizon one was perfectly clear or not. Just looking for info from anyone who has the Verizon one installed.
If the Verizon ones are truly clear then I'll be returning my Ghost Armor for a refund.

Thanks in advance.

I bought the Verizon protectors to hold me over til I received my XO Skins. The XO Skins is far superior except in feel. The Verizon protectors feel slick as glass, whereas the XO Skin has a slight tackiness. The Verizon protector, although applied almost perfectly, still didn't look great because around the speaker it didn't sit perfect on both my Galaxy Nexus and my friend's. The Verizon protector also washed out the screen a bit and has a rainbow affect. Other than the slight tackiness, you can't even tell the XO Skins is on there.

Both are good and get the job done, I just prefer the look of the XO Skins.

i actually just switched from vzw clear ones to ghost armor full protection. While more pricey, i am much happier with it. I didnt like the fact that the VZW ones would accumulate dirt / oil / whatever else was on my hands and it would actually form sediments on the screen protector itself. When the VZW was cleaned though, it was crystal clear. For the fact alone that it picked up so much crap so fast, i hated it.

Now that i switched to ghost armor, and i only have about 48 hours with it so far.. i can say that it is extremely resistant to oil and dirt. I wipe it on my shirt a few times and its clear again.

Did you just get the ghost armor installed? The sparkly effect comes from the protector not being fully dry yet. Mine had a ton of that yesterday, today after i woke up its much less noticeable but it is still there. I think it just needs to cure / dry.

While the ghost armor isnt crystal, it is pretty damn close. i know i love it much more than zagg, which i also installed before

I threw the package away, but they were $15 for a 3 pack. Zero rainbow effect.

Assuming it was $15 with tax, that sounds like the clear Verizon protectors. They're $12.99. Anyway, I've used the Verizon ones on every phone I've had until I get a higher quality one and they always have the rainbow effect. You just only see it with the screen off (or black background) and in certain lighting. It's not terrible.

No I've had it on for a little over 3 days now. It's just not totally clear like I thought it would be. I absolutely love how easily it wipes off, but the sparkliness is so damn annoying. This is the 2nd one I had installed and I don't know if the kiosk at the mall is doing a bad install, or if this is how Ghost Armor is. I've gotta think this is not right as more people would complain about it.

I had never used a case or screen protector on any phone before, and they all showed the result of that. So, I have nothing to compare to.

After about a week of naked GNex, I stopped in at a vzw store and picked up their clear screen protectors, black gel case and extra batteries.

The screen protector is perfectly clear and tight. I really cant tell it's there. Yes, it and the case get dirty and clean right up with a damp cloth or paper towel. I like it just fine.

Again, nothing to compare to but I am glad all that finger ooze and grime get on the protector and case and not the phone.....

As someone mentioned above, there are actually two Verizon screen protectors, clear ones and anti-glare ones. When I asked the VZW rep about the difference (beside the obvious anti-glare feature), she said that the anti-glare screen protectors were slightly less crisp (I do not recall her exact words, but this is the idea). Consequently, I chose the clear.

Overall, I am pleased. No rainbow effect noticed except when I get oils on the screen. That is my only dislike--they accumulate oils on the screen. I wish that they had oleophobic surfaces. However, I find that using a glasses wipe on them gets rid of the accumulated oil and spots readily, so it is usually not that bothersome.

I don't know what kind you got but my Verizon ones have that weird rainbow effect going on. Can't stand it waiting on my SGP ones to show up in the mail.

I've been very happy with the products from SGP - Steinheil.

The screen protector is slightly smaller than the glass, so there is a visible gap- but it hasn't bothered me so far. The touch is very similar to glass, there is no tacky/rubber effect.

The case is rubber, yet smooth enough so it slides in and out of a pocket easily. It does not compare to a cheap silicone case.
