I have seen many Digital Clock Widgets and Weather Widgets.. looking for a decent one for my home screen. I did not see one with stock android..

any suggestions for a nice free one?

Also I like the speed of the phone, but the screen seems a bit touchy, is it the screen protector I might have on it?

So far I like it.. everything works fast compared to the Eris, Like night and day..

Oh yeah I also would like a Battery Widget, I found one, it is okay, but would like something different. the one I installed is BatteryTime Lite

None of the free clock widgets are good. The majority of the ones you see on this site are Weather Widget Donate, and Beautiful Widgets.

IF I buy Beautiful widgets and then root my phone will I loose the Widget?

I have both Weather Widget Donate and Beautiful Widgets, right now I am using Beautiful Widgets Smaller Home with the naked skin.

Either one is nice

But if you want something simple, there is Digital Clock Widget, pretty nice and simple

Once you buy any app, it is permanently tied to your account. You can reinstall it as many times as you want.

beautiful widgets is great, a nice app, does weather and time, and it integrates your alarm clock as well if you click the clock part, sooo nice.

Me personally, I'd return that and get the paid version of Weather Widgets. It's only $1.50 which I believe is cheaper than BW and looks almost exactly like the HTC sense clock that everyone likes. And it has an add on app that you get for free for buying the paid version plus its skinable all of which is free. Simply Input your zip code and it finds your weather for you. Mine is set to update every hour. And yes tapping the clock can bring up your weather forecast for the week, and your alarm clock app thats built into android.

Honestly I like the clock in Beautiful widgets more then the HTC one.. I had a different clock the last few days on my eris

I just think the BW clock is too big. It doesn't really look as clean or slick on the home screen, at least to me. lol

Beautiful Widgets is better imo. And i might add check out my skins Charcol and Bluesky and TheDarkRed which i am just finishing up

I use Battery Left Beta for my battery widget. After running a few days and "Learning" how you use you phone, and your batteries' performance, it is pretty darn accurate. It has a nice graphical interface, and can display battery percent by single digits, how many hours/minutes you have left, and the time of day your battery will "die" even.. Most options, even the colors, can be configured. It also has selection of 1x1 size or 2x1 size.

If your referring to clock layout then yes this is only option. But the app itself includes 4 different widgets.

The flip clock as shown and 3 different sized weather widgets by themselves without the clock.

The animated weather forecasts for weather widget are weak sauce compared to beautiful widgets.

But to each his/her own.
