Anyone else on AOKP having the issue of the battery icon never reading 100%? The most mine will ever read is 99%

Mine was 100% this morning, but to get it there I was charging it with the phone turned off.

I charge overnight. When I wake up its always on 98%. If I unplug and plug back in and watch for the 100% I can see it for less than a minute then it goes in very quick succession to 98% again.

Was trying something new and left my phone on overnight on the charger. Been off the charger for about an hour...just looked at my battery and this Media showed up....not even sure why. I have not done anything but check my Gmail and phandroid app....

Any ideas....? Plus I am already down at 87%...been on wifi the whole time

I did some research on this issue before. It appears to be a battery tender. In other ways it is doing what it is suppose to do, goes to 100% then begins discharging to some predetermined point, eg 98 percent, and then charges again. Just now, mine plugged in on ac says charged 99 percent. I unplugged it, waited until it said discharge and plugged it back in. Now it says charging 99%. In the time I typed this it now says charged 100% and will now start the cycle again.

Update on new SIM and one way audio issue. Installed the new SIM received from Verizon two nights ago. It is the other SIM, not the same one I had at first. Unlike some others have reported, I did have to call verizon to have them register the SIM to my account. Everything seemed good, including slightly better signal. However, last night, I experienced the one way audio issue again. So, it would appear the new SIM did not fix this. Over on XDA someone mentioned that they called tech support and had them re-provision their account and this solved their problem (they had already replaced the phone and the SIM). I am going to try this as soon as I can use my husbands phone to call as I believe you will have to pull the SIM card when they are done. This kind of makes sense to me that it is not truly a hardware issue but may be how your account is set up. A lot of people who have had this problem have not had it fixed with new hardware, yet others have never experienced it at all. Any one have any thoughts?

Will be welcoming my 3rd Android device (and 2nd Samsung Galaxy device) to my home this afternoon. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus! Wife has at least 2 hours of online class tonight for her master's degree so I'll have some time to get acclimated First thing is first, as always, ROOT! Not a lot of dev support that I have found so far for it, so if I do anything to it other than root and remove bloat, it may have to be done by me, myself, and I.

Sounds to me like that could be the issue. I wouldn't think that would be a hardware issue. I would give that a shot and see what happens.

The one good I can say about Hartsfield is that it's better than Kennedy. (I'm referring to the airports themselves, no slams intended about either part of the country.)

I'm not sure who the JD is you're talking about, but I was referring to Juice Defender. I need to be careful when I use abbreviation. For example, someone might take it the wrong way if I abbreviated "I got really excited the other day when I was playing around with Best Buy's latest toys."

Speaking of which, I think I'll join the CD mount car dock wagon. I really don't like mounting my phone on the dash or windshield.

In reference to your Juice Defender question. I used it for a couple of days and did find that it greatly increased my battery life, but what I have found to increase it even moreso is to get Tasker and NFC Task Launcher(not required but handy) and set up profiles to activate in certain places or under certain conditions.

Example:
When I'm at work, I get really poor signal and data cuts in and out a lot. So I have an NFC tag that I read when I get to work and it turns my ringer to vibrate, turns all my wifi/bluetooth/gps stuff off since it can't pick those up anywhere in here anyway, and turns my cellular data off since signal is spotty in this building.

When I leave work, I read the same tag and it re-enables all of that except wifi.

When I arrive home I have a tag underneath the light switch plate that I read and it turns on wifi and connects to my home router.

I got home yesterday with 70% battery even after playing a couple of games for a few minutes at work, sending a few texts, re-enabling data manually to send an email with 2 picture attachments, and talking on the phone for 20 minutes or so on the way home. Put it on the charger last night at 50% after being off the charger for 17 hours.

I just bought JD+ to set it so the Nexus doesn't even try to connect to wifi out of range of my home network. That should save some battery. I am very happy with Juice Defender so far

As an automated battery management program, you cannot beat it. Does an amazing job. I've just found I can take it another couple of steps forward by doing everything manually with NFC tags or Tasker.

if you're using google voice (like me) for texts/call forwarding this option probably isn't going to work. i rely on email throughout the day. i wish mobile data wasn't such a battery hog.

i'm glad i still have my old # to give out to people, but i've been finding that in some cases i don't have data but have cell signal... pretty much rendering google voice completely useless.

I do rely on google voice, but I can access gmail at work and have google voice set to forward all voice calls to my office phone during working days/hours. So it's not a big problem for me. I could see where it would be for others though. Even if I did have mobile data on, I might not get a notification from google voice for an hour sometimes after the actual voicemail. I also have it set to text my actual cell number when I receive a voicemail.
