I think everyone's Behold 2 lags a lot.

Fortunately there are ways to help the lagging. Make sure you don't have many apps running at the same time. You can view how many apps are currently running by downloading an application task manager from the Market. The same app should help you terminate some of those.

What are you currently running? Stock, galaxy....? Any home replacements? Widgets? I'd recommend you reading some on this forum. It's full of tips and advices.

Wrong ..
DON'T USE ANY OF THE TASK KILLERS.. waste Of time and cpu.
ANDROID IS BUILT TO MULTI TASK. . So you can run apps as you want
SAMSUNG BEHOLD 2 IS STILL ON 1.5 FIRMWARE bugs and all. . So be a lil patient. . Lag that your experiencing is because of Samsung touch wiz. Interface. .
MY ADVICE. do some research on how android works, the look on the top of this forum for the thread "Stock behold without touch wiz". . follow the instructions (copy n paste if you have to ) and you have a much more responsive behold 2.
BTW. For a even smother experience you can install auto killer from the market, it is not a task killer, it just tweaks the phone memory management, this requires a rooted device so you can do this after you do the above. .

This phone in particular will lag somewhat, but if it's terrible, you should consider trying a hard reset (Menu -> Settings -> SD card & phone storage -> Factory data reset **This will remove everything on your phone that isn't stored on the SD card or SIM card**).

I did that a few days ago, prior to rooting and installing a custom rom, and it helped tremendously. The phone will always be slightly laggy because of the TouchWiz UI, as mentioned above, but like I said, it shouldn't be really bad. I've seen completely stock Behold 2's that don't appear to be too laggy.

If you have patience, try rooting and installing a custom ROM from BH_MAN on these forums. You will not be disappointed. Performace increase is astonishing, especially since resident forum members are better at making phones work than our very own phone manufacturers.
