Anyone get the EL30 update yet?

I read about the update coming to our phones but haven't had any luck getting it yet.

Has anyone else got it yet? It said we should be able to initiate it beginning on the 19th but i've tried every day with no luck.

Important Notes:
- The customer may initiate the update beginning 1/19 or wait until notifications begin being sent to devices on 1/24
- Updates may be released in stages. When checking for the update, you may receive a message that no update is available,
check back later or wait until the update notification is sent to your device

I did, and it broke my phone--no longer able to receive calls or listen to voicemail. I called in to Sprint Tech Support and they want me to do a factory reset! While on the call they got another caller with the same problem. This may grow to be a real issue for us/them! Have you heard of any resources or fixes?

Good luck!

+1 I did a battery pull and still same problem. This is the first time I've had OTA problem and have never rooted it. If I have to do a factory reset, I might as well root and flash.

Thanks, but where did the callerID go? It used to put the persons contact picture in the middle of the screen and I would slide that up to answer or down to ignor?

right above the green and red buttons. i don't know if the pictures load for the contacts. for some reason the profile pics from facebook would never link to the contacts in my phone.

ooh, im scared, i havent even had time to address these issues since Gingerbread update:
1) GPS quits working after 10 mins (that happen mostly when i would run pandora & GPS at the same time)
2) Wifi lock is much weaker then before, i can be sitting right next to my router & still only show couple strength bars.
3) keyboard will randomly go into application short-cut every once in a while (which i have not assigned any applications to)
4) Screens still locks up couple times a week

All this never happened b/f Gingerbread update; definitely makes enloying my phone less; but i will never switch to an iPhone!!!

Got the update last night but was sacred to install it. But i bit the bullet this morning and it went just fine. I will say that i was able to use the GPS for 20 mins or so without an issue. I would be lucky to get 10 mins out of it before it crapped out. Also, the phone didn't randomly lock up or restart like it did almost every day since the Gingerbread update. So far i am very happy with the latest update and hopefully it continues.

I got the update this morning. I haven't had any problems with it so far, but it screwed up my wallpaper. I can't scroll through the scree s and see different aspects of my picture anymore. It's just stuck on one screen and miniaturized. I've tried multiple images, and they all do the same thing. Not cool. :(

Same here. Wallpaper won't scroll.
