Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

lol I tell ya what I'm not dyslexic, but sometimes when I type a response you'd think I was. Either aging suX  or my 20 or so party years are taking their toll!

You know I was busting you , right? I have just never seen something like that in a post of yours and my sarcastic smart ass side came out. :D

Yes I do. Busting  is a form of flattery/adulation right :D

I have never seen that either lol I was going to edit it out, but it looked so funny. And I like the sarcastic smart @55 side wouldn't be any fun without!

I bought tapatalk because it was much more friendly to my phone and battery life. The Phandroid app was giving me lots of problems - messages being one. Did you try clearing out all data and cache from the settings > app menu?
I installed the GetJar market app just so I could download Tapatalk free. I don't use it a lot, but when I'm browsing the forums on my phone, it's the app of choice. I also am a member of 3 other forums that make use of the app which is really nice.

About time! Might be too little too late though; I've been using Yahoo! Sportacular since the OG Droid days and I've gotten used to it. Better than ScoreCenter, IMO.
I liked Yahoo's app when I first tried it on the Nexus but then one day it started posting bogus games for my personal teams. I could never figure out what was going on despite reloading the widget and the app so I went back to ESPN. It is a bit "bulky" compared to Yahoo, but it is certainly thorough.

On a side note, I just read a post on the boards that the WatchESPN app has been updated to work with ICS. Of course, you have to already receive ESPN programming on select cable/dish providers to be granted access, but if you have that, this is a fantastic app. Even on the X2 with 3G, i was able to watch college games while traveling.

Hmm, very interesting, I've never heard of anything like that happening before.

Yeah, unfortunately I have Comcast, which WatchESPN doesn't appear to be compatible with. :(

Wanting to Flash AOKP 20 and Sonny's theme. I know to wipe dalvik, cache then format system to do aokp and immediately do gapps. Then reboot.
Let settle for a few.

Then recovery, and wipe what before the theme? I know I'm being 'special' so thanks for walking me through this again.

humm just flash it all at once it makes no diffreance how you do it... it may just take a tad bit longer when starting up if you flash all at once

How are the alerts for this? Do they kill the battery? Are they push?

Can't believe I didn't know about this before.
Yup, push notifications, I don't notice any significant battery drain. You can set alerts for "Game Start", "Game End", "Score Change," "Quarter/Period/Inning/etc. Change", "Overtime", and others, depending on the sport. It has every American sport, including college, and most major European ones (English/German football leagues, etc). My favorite part about the app is a feature that lets you pick who you think will win a particular game. You can then see a geographical breakdown of picks. I picked the upcoming Super Bowl as an example:

Just wanted to give everyone an fyi. If you switch out your phone, Google wallet will not transfer to your new device. It is attached to the esn/meid. You will have to call Money Network to have any money transferred from your Google prepay card. You also want to make sure they cancel your account associated with your old phone. It took about 10 minutes on the phone to get it all switched around.
