Sounds like something went wrong after flashing the bottom toggle mod then. Try going to settings> rom control> navigation bar> long press home action> and toggle the "show recents" then "do nothing" then reboot. You're not using a theme correct? thepsyntyst mentions in his OP : If you are using a theme or other mods pm me and i will try to get a mod for you. which means to me other UI mods can bork one another.

Although I don't know your entire "went through process" this is what jumps out at me. Did you make a backup before flashing the bottom toggle mod? If so then restore. If not then you'll need to start over I'm afraid.

I haven't tried any of the transparent mods. Are there many/any other people experiencing this in those threads @ the rootz?

The issue I see frequently is the dock being not fully transparent, which is fixed using an updated nova launcher. I got that to work, not sure how though... but now my navigation bar isn't fully transparent. Usually the issue is the other way around.

I'm thinking if you re-did it in the correct order it would work.

That's the thing about all the mods (I don't use any of them although I appreciate them all) for this and other ROM's. They mess with each other and it's frustrating, to me at least.

I'm just happy with my #21, my home-made battery icon and franco 13.1 :D

HOT! : OP updated with thepsyntyst's Framework animations mod for #21 :: Vortex, ThePsyFlip, ThePsynFlip, Chaos, ChaosRevenge

Whoa. These are crazy, I had no idea you could change this. I'm using thePsynShift right now, and it makes for a nice change :)

Edit: Ok, I just realized that this affects Lucid and any other themes, so I'm going to uninstall. I recommend checking them out to anyone who's not using a theme, though.

Edit 2: Ahh... if only I read the two posts above me

You are correct, they are messing with each other. I ref lashed b21, and I had a transparent navigation bar again, but the opaque dock. So I flashed a novab13 zip, and the transparent dock came.back, but it also put the navigation at 20% guess I wasn't meant to have both.

Its always been slow but seems longer now. I'll time it on next boot

Mines has never been slow never experienced anything like that. I've never timed it though.

I saw a boot mod in a ROM that cut out the boot animation which supposedly reduced time. Heard of anything like this jb?

You can turn it off it's built into AOKP#21. Settings> rom control> general UI > check "disable boot animation"

I have heard of removing the boot animation through root explorer or similar, but not a mod to do that for you. Doesn't surprise me though :p
