MMS Download Problem

i have been having a problem download MMS when i recieve them. it will say "download unsuccessful" and it wont let me open it... i have the sprint hero.. does anyone have this problem. i talked to sprint and they restored my data problems, but it still wont download,

has anyone had this... please let me know asap

turn off your wifi connection if its on. This is a known issue with the phone.

Are you using the Stock app or Handcent?

I posted this on another thread that was going about this, so I'll do it here, too.

This is an unofficially known issue (meaning still in the "investigation" stage). It is being worked on, if turning the mobile network off and back on doesn't fix it, go to your Picture Mail account and you can view it there. I know, it's kinda a PITA, but since it happens to me intermittently, I don't really see it as that big of a deal.

i use handcent, but it doesnt download in either messaging program.

I have wifi turned off and use the stock messaging app. I get notified that I got a message but when I go in to see it there is nothing there. It never works and I always have to use the website to get the pictures...I hope they fix this with 2.1

I've had the same problem with Handcent, it shows up in the message when you press to view it does nothing. Oddly enough I was able to view a video normally. I'm able to view the message in the stock messenger through that pain in the ass slideshow thing.

Known issue. Sprint told me to do a hard reset. I told them to piss off. It is going to b fixed when we upgrade to 2.1 I was told by Sprint.
