Help Folders missing After replacing SDCard

SdCard Failed and after much drama from Verizon just went and bought a new one. Installed fine but when I went into DCIM file to put stuff back where it belongs I notice missing folders. In fact I can't see the folder for MUSIC U I used to just drag music into anymore. I got photos and videos to get in but what happenned to the MUSIC folder?

it is also possible it became corrupt and the system deleted it to avoid lost information

It was a Brand new Sdcard with nothing on it. I installed it and browsed for the folders so I could put my stuff back on it. I got some music on it and some pics but my phone may be on the way out. TWICE I saw errors pop up that the card wasn't there ..blah blah blah .. then it would work again..

All is working now so I will just have to see.

Thnx guys for the responses.

have you tried running an actual virus scan through the contents of the sdcard? not from the phone either. but connect your phone via mass storage, and run a scan of the sdcard. probably turn up empty. but you can easily rule out malicious activity, and know its something either with the card, or the phone.

but glad its working
