So wait, this case fits with the TPU case on it?

Was just about to post here asking if anyone knows of a case that the Nexus will fit into with a TPU case on it. Hmm. May have to check this out. Thank you.

I am currently using it with cruzer lite tpu case (Andy android ) with the extended battery & back. I also have the other cruzer lite cases plus the boxwave uni- color? case. The boxwave only fits with standard battery tho. Plenty of room.

Thanks man. Guess I should order one up. I have that same case as well as the diztronic rev 3.

Hope some others come out as well. But for the price, awesome!

So like many on here I'm going to be staying up late to order one. I've gone with an xo screen protector since I've read that the screen does in fact scratch. I'm upgrading from an OG droid and am extremely excited.

In terms of cases...I'm a little lost here. I previously had a seidio case for my og droid, but to be honest, it did not hold up as I expected (finish wearing off, clips wearing down). I was wondering if people can give some recommendations in terms of brands. I've been looking at the case mate one, as well as the otterbox. I would love a form fitting, clean looking case.

What is everyone's plan in terms of cases? Caseless?
I own an "Otterbox Communter" and it is amazing

i have the active case now from seidio. it is a good case, great protection, love the holster.

only thing i would like to see, put a hard plastic arm at the top where the phone goes into the holster. there are 6 arms for the outside hard plastic, one on each corner and 2 in the middle. if you added one top the top it would be MUCH easier to clip it into the hoslter.

as it is, the rubbery top section drags on the holster clip, sometimes gets bunched up, and its a bit of a pain.

I agree. I was just thinking this last night. I've always used the Seidio holster with a naked device or with the surface case, and it's real easy to slip the phone into the holster one handed and use the phone itself to push the spring clip open to put the phone in the holster. With this one, I actually have to use two hands or make sure I open the clip before inserting the phone.

Wow! I finally read this whole thread!

I ordered the TPU matte black case yesterday but now I'm reading that it is quite slippy, but does it at least provide more grip than the naked phone?

I wanted to order one of the leather Sena pouches but they e-mailed me and said the ones they have are stiched too tightly and don't know when they will be getting more in. They now have these ugly cases with a red "racing stripe" down the right side, ugh.

Does anyone else know of pouches similar to the one below?

Funny that they said they were stitched too tightly. I finally broke down and returned mine, for just that reason.

Back to my TPU rev 2 case, still pondering a cruzer lite or the Mercury case. Anyone have the Mercury case yet?

I have both the matte black and gloss black Diztronic rev. 3 cases. Both will give you a better grip on the phone, but gloss one provides far more grip than the matte one.

I like the way the matte one looks, but I keep the gloss on my phone.

is the hoslter different for the active and surface cases on the seidio? if so i may return the active, if not i may buy just the surface.
The holsters are different. The active holster is larger. The phone with surface case will of course fit in the active holster (with a little wiggle but will probably be fine), but not the other way around.

I have both as well and agree with you. The Ditztronic case is in my opinion just a bit better grip than the naked phone, but the Cruzer lite is glossy and is much less slippery than either the naked phone or the Ditztronic case.

So what was the consensus on which holsters work with the cruzerlite and the Diztronic? I have the Diz and would like to grab a holster to use with it. Verizon owes me a case. Do they carry any holsters or cases with holsters that will work with the Diz or the Cruzer? It seems like somebody mentioned that Verizon carried a holster that works. Thanks for the help guys! Loving My Nexus!!!
