Viewing phone content on TV over wireless

I know how to view pics/vids with the cable accessory, but can't figure out how to due it over my wireless network. I just got an internet tv with wifi and everything is connected, but how do I view pics/vids on the big screen? I went to gallery and selected 'output', but tv doesn't show up as a device to select. Am I missing something simple?

I have searched, but was not able to find anything useful.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but can you explain how to view the pics and videos from the phone using the cable? I'm slow.

With having internet and WiFi your TV also might support DLNA.
And if your phone has the stock HTC app 'Connected Media' you should be able to see your phone's videos and pictures on your PC over wireless

If your TV can't DLNA, you could buy a DLNA converter.
HTC sells such a (expensive) converter as 'DG H100'.
Connect it to the TV with HDMI cable the converter acts like a wireless access point on WiFi.
On you phone you'll use this 'Connected Media' app.

What type of video are you trying to play? I am able to play video files on my phone or I can access files on my laptop. I can not stream video from sites such as YouTube or Netflix. For the files on your phone, you may need to have an app installed on your phone which can play them since it will serve as your "decoder". I have MoboPlayer installed to play DivX video.

I am trying to play videos I took from my phone on my tv. I can view my pictures now, but I can't get the video files to transfer (view?).

I tried this with a PS3 yesterday. The organic dlna capability of the phone didn't work with the PS3 but Skifta did work. I had to initiate everything from the PS3 though. (search for media server, go through file directories, etc.) However, when I played the music video that came with the phone (Ellie Golding) the video paused (needed a bigger buffer?) quite a bit. I wasn't impressed at all. My sons TVersity media server on his laptop played just fine. I can see I'm going to have to invest in the mhl (?) converter.

Good find but I think that explains how to play files from media servers to display on the rezound. We were looking to display files from the rezound on the television wirelessly.

Yes, now I see it, the Verizon support says "Play Media (DLNA)"

I searched the support and there are a lot of phones with "Share Media (DLNA)" but not the Rezound
