Hello folks

Can anybody please tell me how can I install apps on SD card instead of installing them on the very small internal memory? Or at least how to move them to SD card after installing them on the internal memory?

I have been searching for a solution for this problem but so far I didn't find one, I tried this way: http://androidforums.com/samsung-ga...-force-install-apps-sd-card-without-root.html but it doesn't help me a lot because a lot of apps refused to be moved to sd card by using (apps to sd) applications.

Is there any way to solve this issue without rooting the phone? And if not, Wil rooting the phone allow me completely to move all the apps to SD card? and how?

(And btw will rooting the phone invalidate the warranty? Sorry I'm a beginner :D)

Thanks in advance

- Yes it will void your warranty if you root the phone.

- But you can always unroot it ;)
- All app are in SD card with root (exept Superuser)

Follow this link if you have Gingerbread and make your life easy: http://androidforums.com/ace-all-things-root/493855-universal-gingerbread-root-2-3-3-2-3-7-a.html in 2 min your problems are solved.

Thanks very much for replying, I will wait to see if there's any method to solve this issue without rooting

And it's not mentioned in the thread how to move apps to sd card after rooting the phone (Or they will be moved automatically?)

Rooting only gives you superuser access to your device, all the modifications you want, you will have to apply them yourself.

You cannot move your apps completely to sd card without rooting. Atleast not
yet, maybe some genius developer will come up with a way someday, but thats not happening today :p

If you want to go over the Samsung line you will have to take risks my friend.:D

Something is definately wrong. So I did as the video said. Then I went to the market and downloaded angry birds. Have about 13mb free now on phone. Anyhow angry birds installed fine and I played 3 levels. So it works. And I downloaded jewel game and it went to sd card also. Have 13mb free now on phone. Any how so all is working now. Apps are installing to the sd card now. But then went to market and asked for Angry Birds Rio and Seasons. Both are 19 and 21 mb. So if I was going to the phone makes sense. But it should be the sd card now. But still says no room "insufficient space". But if I changed install location to sd then how can I be out of space.
