Just bought a xperia mini. As a newbie android user, there are some questions I couldn't solve.

1)When I press the volume rockers, it decrease or increases the ringtone volume. So if I press it accidently many times throughout the day, the volume may decrease such a degree that I might not hear it. So, is there a way to disable that option. At least I don't want those rockers to control the ringtone volume.

2)In the main screen, there are pages without gadgets, but those pages are still there, so how can I delete them. In xperia x10 mini, it was possible.

3)There is a facebook app comes into the phone and also I installed one which just allows me to use facebook chat. So far so good, but the problem is that, those two apps launch all the time even though I kill them with advanced task killer. So, how can I set them not to start up on their own ?

4)Vibration of the phone is barely sensible. Don't think it's possible but asking just in case, is there a way to increase the power of vibration ?

Thanks in advance

I will try my best to answer these for you:

1. Unfortunately not.

2. I have had look around and can not see a way to do so, but I will keep looking on this one as you should be able to.

3. These are considered system applications and as such will always run in the background.

4. This unfortunately can not be adjusted.

Thanks for your answers.
Regarding third one;
Isn't there a way to block an application all the way. I mean Advanced Task killer just shuts it down and it pops-up again. What I want is completely preventing it from starting up unless I do intentionally.

Is that possible ?

Morever, I set the the advanced task killer's killing frequency to "When screen off". That's work but at the moment when screen is offed. As the screen is off, applications starts up again at the background as if the phone is in use. Well, It's definitely working phone itself but that drains the battery those applications to start-up randomly. Again that winds me up to first question :D

I had this problem and found Volume Locker helps. You have to click its notification within a specified time in order for the volume change to take affect. It prevents exactly the issue you are having.
