Keyboard arrows

I'm sure you can find another text app that will have an edit mode that you are accustomed to. Near as I know, the stock app has no arrow mode. You might give the stock text app a bit of time. You will gain cursor accuracy as you go along.
Lots of luck in whatever you do.

I have given it time on the TB(before the update) and other android phones. When it came out on the TB with the latest update I was loving it. Now I am back to the same old thing. Its a pain to get the cursor where you need it, the little green ball move from where you want it to one line up. Sometimes I get it close and just delete to where I need to fix the word and retype again what I deleted.

I just came from the TB. It had up, down, right and left arrows to use if you made a mistake on a text. Does the Rezound have it or do I have to download a app keyboard. Its a pain to get the cursor right where you need it to edit.

I'm right there with you, I used to use those arrows on the TB all the time. Disappointed they took those out.

Smart Keyboard Pro. There is an option to add a row of arrow buttons below the keyboard, as well as gestures like swipe to delete a word, toggle caps, toggle number pad, etc. Also, for those who type a lot, it has an excellent t9 ABC keyboard option.

Also, there is an option to use the volume buttons to move the cursor.

After using it, other keyboards, especially the iPhone's, feel appallingly primitive.
