Help Application downloading and installing problem

In my new 10.1 galaxy tab iam unable to download and install applications from the market. the download bar doesnot appear.It takes long time for an application to install. frustrated

I'm having the same issue, sometimes I have to hit the install button 3 or 4 times. Its annoying but tolerable.

This is a known problem with tablets since the last Market update. A workaround I have found that works 100% of the time is to toggle wifi off/on when the download stalls. Upon resuming the wifi connection, the download always completes.

reboot the SGT- you'll be amazed.

When that happens, (which is most of the time) just tap "My Apps", you'll see the app you're trying to download at the bottom of the list. Tap it and it will begin the download process. Works every time and not as time consuming as the other suggestions, no offense

This is how I do it, or I just go back to whatever else I was doing, and the app will eventually start downloading. Can't wait for ICS on this thing.

In case you haven't noticed there's a new firmware update for the SGT 10.1 which includes a market update. Improved graphics, but more importantly apps download and install first time, every time.

Would you look at that. A firmware update. Why didnt I read about this in any android update site? Must be brand new. Thanks!

Every time I try and download the firmware update I get a "server" error. I am getting out to the net fine (obviously) but the upgrade software will not connect to what ever server its looking for... any suggestions?
